Show me your CSL reps.

Currently agonising over a refurb for my 108's or a set of 19" CSL reps for my roadster.

Interested to see some pics of cars with the CSL's fitted. Especially ET38 and ET40 offsets.

Thanks.

Struggling to think of a better stanced Si E85 or E86 with 19inch CSL reps on Eibach's than our own Z4pilots
The fronts are always going to be a squeeze at 8.5s & 40ish offset though

They look ace but the fact he's added a mudflap halfway up the rear quarter tells a story... :(

I thought yours were genuine mr h :poke: fooled me :P

They are, but from 10 feet who would know.

That's the trouble, OEM's on an M look ace and fit properly. I just don't like the idea of CSL reps protruding from my arches or catching at the front because of the lower offset. :(

Yes, staggered 18's

Ooh, they look good. Don't suppose you know the rim widths and offsets do you? :)

Offsets are 26 rear / 34 front

They look great. It was before you fitted your aero side skirts as well. Really liked your car at the weekend. Do you still have them or are they your winter set?

No, not really, the arch lips are only really there as an aesthetic add-on. They're not needed, but the 9.5 width wheel, et33 does push them out to what I consider to be the furthest point. They don't extend beyond the arch line, catch or rub, but I was looking to create an OEM+ look and reasoned that had BMW fitted wheels this size as standard, they might have gone for the sort of solution to meeting EU regs that other manufacturers had employed. Audi, with the TT Sport, Lotus with the Elise 190 and Jaguar with the XK8-R all fitted arch lips, so I thought I'd try some.

Pictured without the arch extensions;

If you end up choosing 18 inch wheels, my personal opinion is that there are better looking wheels than CSL reps - the whole point of the CSL look is the rear dish and you won't get it with 18's and higher offset numbers. Try looking at Jamie_Z4's posts - he's had more wheels on his coupe than most have had hot dinners. BBS-CH's look good in 18's and don't appear to be undersized.

You sure about those numbers Nick :? The rears don't sit in the arch like et26 ?

Haven't checked them Andy, took the info from your advert when you sold them http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=56823

Here you go. My old 3.0si with 19inch reps and lowered on eibach's

That looks great. Same as mine, lowered on Eibachs.

Do you know what offset they were? Tyre sizes?

Was there any rub?
