+1 Once I'd ditched the runflats.
Mine is really smooth with the run flats.

Exactly why I said I dont know if its relevant.Angie4m said:Nictrix said:Dont know if its relevant as ours is the 23i m sport but we paid just under that 2 years ago for our 2010 model.
Only thing they have in common is its a E89. The comparison is like comparing apples and pears. Can't compare the price of a 2.5l straight 6 which is no longer in production via a 3.0l twin turbo straight 6 with 7 speed DTC which is still in production. And two years ago to boot.
Things that effect price is model, I don't believe the 23i is as desirable a model, compared to a 3.0l straight 6, the 30i is more desirable, then 35i fillowed by 35is. I'd go as far as saying the 28i is probably up the 'desirability' pecking order than the 23i now.
Other things that effect the price is private or dealer sale, condition of car in and out, optional extras, manual of auto, mileage, number of owners.
Might help someone looking at a 23i today though

Funnily enough though, when we were looking the 23i was the model we wanted. Not everybody wants the top of the range engine.
But thanks for basically saying that our car is the model nobody wants.

If I am honest I would rather wait and buy a new Boxster. Having been out today for a hard fast blat I have come to the deccision no matter what I do to the Z4 it will never handle like it should. To be fair to the Z4 though I would say its an excellent GT car but not a sports car
