Let's just hope that Jack did not just buy it to make a quick profit by putting it up for £12k next week.

Is it me or has the price gone from £8500, down to £8300, then £8000 and finally back up to £8300?

The easiest thing about telling a porky pie on a public forum is you have a complete history of what you've said

Hi

No ... you are missing the point, Z4 sold today for £8300, the £12k valuation was from the BMW owners club for insurance purposes, this was agreed with footman James insurance.
which is all now not really important now that the Z4 has gone. And Jack was very pleased with his Purchase

The ESS supercharger is going on Ebay tonight .. but will not be sold to certain twats on this web site.

Again ... please can the moderators please remove my name membership and history to stop me having temptation to stop wasting my time on this site ... I have purchased a play pen with a box full of dummy's (vipers nest) :slappy: when they can all bitch together.

please don't wast your time putting immature under age comments on this web site ... as I will not going on this site anymore to waste my time viewing them :fuelfire:

Most of the people I am sure are great members but for me the shitty attitude, piss take childishness behavior and nonconstructive bullshit from total chave people has forced me to sell my Z4 as I want no part of it. Some of these members do not deserve my help as a auto electronics engineer

So ... signing out for good and F*** off

 I guarantee he hasn't sold his Z4.

Love how he completely ignores my points about the multiple different selling prices.

You sound like a 50 year old going on 10. You call everyone else immature and then cry because you disagree with others. You ask to be removed from the site, do you have no self.control?

All very very strange indeed.

Forget the marmite caper this is becoming one of my fav posts of the year :D
I'm sure if "Jack" does appear he would be most welcome & as we are all in on "it" we'l be sure to tell him what a bargain he has landed & that the value can only go up from here on in

El Taco , any thoughts ?

You can still stop the insurance and stow it safely if you can't afford maintenance and insurance. But selling is not wise if you want to spend the money on your house. What will you do next time you need money? Sell the house? You'd better consider changing jobs to earn a little more so you have to worry less. Or find another way to earn some extra cash. Selling things is always a very much last resort.

If you can afford to keep it, especially in that condtion and low mileage: keep it.

I've been kinda reading this post in the back ground, waiting for the comment "I'm keeping it now" I do believe this car has been up for sale many times before!

After nicks £8500 price tag I posted I would sell mine for that! Within a few hours Nick PM'd and asked if I would take £8000 for mine... Didn't reply as stated he was buying something else!

Nick seems a very indecisive kinda guy, but obviously likes his Z4...

I've stopped posting as often as I did after the fiasco with a hard top purchase which really made me think some members are just plain rude and have no respect!

On selling a Z4;
I would never advertise my car on the Z4-forum as people are far to critical and are quick to slate selling prices, mine would be for sale around £8k if I was selling (I'm sure many members would be happy to slate my valuation) I know looking for the right z'd is a mission as there is some crap out there.... You do get what you pay for!!

Let's hope Nick is happy with selling up?

This forum is great 99% of the time but there is always some people who spoil the fun.

Lets hope Nick also enjoys whatever he buys, but selling your z4 because of the forum is a little odd statement...

C'est la vie.. Tel

If you really like your car, you wouldn't sell it even at a high price. If anyone would offer me 20.000 euro for my zed, I'd consider it, but probably wouldn't sell it. Because I would get another Zed in return anyway. And it's as Tel says: finding a good Zed isn't that obvious anymore, especially with the older E85's.
