Decisions decisions urghhh

I have often had this thought myself you can get a good fast bike for £10k-£12k, but I think I would just end up in hospital or worse

i'm no speed freak but still i could end up in hospital, all it takes is a car driver to pull out

this would be ok

I really wanted to get a Harley last year, but I'm not sure how much use I would get out of it, and whether or not it would become an expensive toy.

Plus killing myself on one would be a serious possibility :o

Taz - on behalf of all the dizzy people on the forum, thanks for reverting your sig back. Don't think my eyes will ever be the same again

Have you got a motorbike licence already or would you need to take the test?

took test about 10 years ago so i could just go and buy 1, crazy i could buy an R1 or something, so fast and dangerous

Go for it mate. Its always a pleasure on the bike. I recently bought a Rocket 3 roadster- awesome bike. Big powerful and also nice to cruise around. See the pic. worth having a bike sometimes.

It is dangerous enough out there on a push bike, let alone one with alot more power.

I've come off more than once this year alone due to inconsiderate drivers

chetalien, that looks a beast of a bike, i think your on your own though, everybody else is saying no

Completely agree. I think most of us would be perfectly safe on a bike and can be trusted. The problem is having to share the road with mostly inconsiderate idiots who would just take you off a bike...

At my wife's work (A&E department) motorcyclists are generally know as "organ donors". Says it all really :o

have a harley but its staying in the garage till the potholes are fixed, in a car you can get away with hitting potholes but they are potentialy lethal on a bike

If you dont think you will be using a bike to often buy somthing cheaper Just for those days when the sun comes out and you fancy a spin there are lots of cheap bikes out there, then if you dot get much use out of it just sell it I have done that the last few years and it has not cost me a penny two years ago I bought a vfr800 off ebay for £2k and sold it for £2300 six months later , done the same with a fireblade £2k bike and sold it on for £2400 by the time I paid road tax , insurance and for a couple tyres I have broke even . I bought a triumph tiger 955i last september for £1900 lovely bike comfortable and quick really good riding position cant go wrong
