Should I get a family car

Was working today with some of my lads helping them do a builders clean.
Saw this car and thought maybe I should trade the zed in for it. However, when I saw the price £85k I think will stick with my zed.
Great looking car and unusual colour

End of the day its just a very fast estate car, albeight a nice one but unless you really need an estate, for that sort of money I would want something that looks as good as it goes.

It's a great place to sit in. But I would never but an estate car. Don't need the space and don't like that many people lol

I'm not so sure about that. It's far more accomplished. Just look up and of Chris Harris's posts on the long term test car he had, I seem to remember he stated it was the best car ever built.
 
Very fast Bus. If you must get a car like that then buy a Range Rover. :thumbsup: Or save yourself 80k and buy a second hand Mondeo. :wink:
 
if I had that sort of money for a car I would go Tesla.... 2.8s 0-60.... and a 300 mile range...
 
Stunning cars, and they make an excellent noise. Would chop in the zed and my little toe any day of the week for one, if i could afford the running costs, lol.
 
So based on previous replies condoms seem to be the answer to avoiding a massive over-spend!

And to be fair how well will it really drive with an engine that size slung out in front of the front wheels - :lol:

But if it was what you wanted, why not?
 
I love the superfast avants, I just don't 'get' them. I can't imagine anyone having one that doesn't have a fleet of other cars and has enough money for every last part of their life to be extravagant. The sort that would have a porsche as a 'city car'

I can't imagine ever being bonkers enough to spend murcielago money on an estate unless I'd simply run out of things to spend money on!
