Hi everyone,

I have just come on to the forum to ask a simple question?

Should I buy a 2006 3 si Z4? Coming from the M3 V8 I am having to down size a little but not knowing anyone who owns one gives me a little doubt. The car I am looking at is a UK spec one and is the 262 or 255 BHP version fully loaded. It has 35k miles, soft top, M Sport package, manual gearbox, cream leather, black paint, sat nav and so on.

I know you all like the motor as you all own one but what advice good or bad would you give.

Cheers

welcome to the forum :D

Guess you will notice less power etc coming from the v8 M3 :o

they are very good cars generally - do a search on here for common problems - such as broken/snapped springs etc... there is also a FAQ around somewhere which would be a good starting point

I'm the same as my heart overides my brain sometimes. It looks brilliant but I would like the coupe but can't find one for £16k. :(

Ok then you smooth talkers. I have put an offer in to the dad of the owner who is a jet pilot currently workng n Las Vegas. Some people hey!

there are quite a few that you could get for 16k after negotiation, see autotrader and search on Z4, car type coupe, price upto 17000
