Should I be glad that a cars gone into me??

Yea wish it was settled with cash although he has a company car and fleet insurance so not gonna happen!

Just wondering if I can get upgraded clear lights and upgraded bumper, will it be cheaper for them getting that replacement?

I think that's called fraud. You could offer to pay any extra but i doubt the insurance company/garage would want to play ball.

Give it a try. I doubt you would have much luck with the insurance company but maybe the garage would be willing to fit the alternative parts but certainly sounds a tad dodgy.
 
I maybe purchasing an M Front bumper in the next week, so my exisiting bumper might be going spare if thats any help
 
There is nothing to stop you upgrade, the insurance only pays for the original items to the repair company, there is no requirement to repair back to oem.
 
I'll see how much the difference would be to upgrade!

Will the newer lights fit straight onto the old bumper? Are they he same size and fitment?
 
it happens to everyone but as to park withoput the handbreak on- you've gotta have had your license from a cornflakes packet...
 
I have spoke with the guys fixing my car! They don't think the updated lights are a different cost to the orange ones! Question - do the updated clear lights fit on the old bumper?
 
Identical lights, assuming you are talking about the late 2005 ones and not the facelift ones.
 
Can anyone spot the difference? Not happy!!

Is the driver side black inner and the passenger side silver? Not sure if its the shadow in the pic?

If so thats shocking!!
