Short trip to Scotland

Well just about to set off on a short trip around some of Scotland's best - only some as the trip is only for 2 nights :thumbsdown:

Off from Newcastle to Callander tonight then on to Glencoe, down to Lochgilphead, back up to Arrochar and down to Uplawmoor tomorrow and then back to Newcastle on Saturday via Irvine, Girvan and then through the Gallway Forest :thumbsup:

Should be about 650 miles I think so will give the Z4 a decent run out. There will be 2 of us both in Z4's so give us a wave if you see us along the way :D
 
Sounds great, we were planning a Scotland trip but had to postpone till next year. Will look forward to hearing how it goes.
 
Just the past week I have noticed the traffic getting lighter. Next weekend is looking good for a blast I think for me. Working tomorrow unfortunately :( . I may follow a bit of your route as it has been a while some I have been down that way.

If you are going to Glencoe village then at the traffic lights take a right hand turn to Kinlochleven which takes you on a loop around the loch and then you just hop back over the bridge and back on your route to Oban ...

It is a good loop and is usually quiet from traffic as no one want to go to Kinlochleven. :roll:

The road follows the loch and is great fun. Have a great trip lads :thumbsup:

Quick video from the top of Glencoe pap which shows a bit of the Loch. The video shows the bottom of the loch at the end (iron bridge end). You will see the pap as you come in from the direction the video ends.
