Short Shift kit

ive read something on zpost that completely put me off this kit, basically it was hitting the prop shaft in reverse, the guy even posted pics of the gouge marks it had cause, upon speaking to Re they said "it is normal to have contact with the prop" after this we all pretty much slammed RE and vowed never to use this kit!!!

shocking!!

do a quick search on zpost and you'll see the post i mean.

Interesting!

I spoke to a supplier who said the kit from the 330ci fitted perfectly without any problems.

I cetainly wouldn't put up with it hitting the prop shaft!

I have the UUC Evo3 kit on mine and i really like it, an expensive modification for sure but there was a noticeable reduction in the gear shifter travel and a slightly crisper gear action.

interesting, anything to improve the shift action is a good idea. Was thinking lit up ZHP gear knob and a short shift kit. There are quite a few for these ZF gear boxes (different to M3 which has a Getrag)? Hartghe, ACS, etc?

I know of the Rogue Engineering and UUC kits and there was also a small run of Autosolution kits produced.

They are different, ZF and Getrag are different manufacturers. Even though you are French, I can not blame you :D

So what is a good short shif kit for this gear box and will it improve shifting?
