Hi, I’ve just treated myself to something i last had as a young bear cub-an air pistol!
It’s a used Weihrauch HW45, just been shooting up some bean cans out the back for testing purposes :P

Do you not need a licence for one these days then?

Only if they’re over a certain power level (6ftlb for pistols & 12ftlb for rifles) in practice the vast majority fall within those limits

Ok think that was the same back in the day. Used to have one of these beauties.

Built a custom stock for it and changed the spring for a, shall we say, more interesting one, me lord.

(I can neither confirm or deny that it was confiscated by the local constabulary, owing to a slight confusion where a freind may have accidentally shot plods son out of a sycamore tree. :o )

That looks lovely Buzy, it’s funny how they bring memories back-for half an hour or so I thought I was 14 again :)

Are there any spiders left in your garden now. I used to spend hours shooting them off there webs from my bed room window. :D

Just looks like a real gun. I keep meaning to find somewhere to do some target shooting but never get round to it.
I recently took up archery and am really enjoying it. A lot more to it than twanging a string.

Smartbear, I am curious. Apart from the bean cans practice, what will you use the air pistol for?

I'm sure it might be handy if another scrote ever drives into his car!

It will come in handy when it’s time to thin the herds of giraffe & wildebeest that roam around Smartbear Towers 2 :P

Unless someone else with an air pistol sees the giraffes first. That would be the explanation if there's not too many giraffes around. :P

Theres a Webley Tempest in my desk drawer but I prefer the 9mm PPK I get to try while on holiday!
