I definitely wouldn't accept that - it's a bodge!

And if the seal doesn't fit properly at the bottom of the screen I would have thought it's going to let water into places where water shouldn't be.

I hope you can get a proper job done.

Goodness, the wind noise is going to be intolerable!

How do you work that out? It's not a seal, it's a cosmetic bit of trim that hides the windscreen gunk.
