Hi, wel I bit the bullet the other day and ordered myself the above mentioned H&R springs for my coupe. I'll keep the current shocks till early next year, but what should I pair the new springs with?

Any info would be appreciated.

Oh, 98% road use! and a couple of track days thrown in.

Oh, of course I'd like the get the best shocks for the best price, I don't have a money tree in my backyard.

:tumbleweed:

if you're not going to stick with OEM dampers, the obvious aftermarket product would be H&R dampers that have been made to be paired with the springs.

Surely, the oil well in your backyard is as a good as a money tree?

Mate glad u piped in here exodus, you seem to be THE man in the know about suspension. I had coil overs KW2 on my last zed3, and while very nice, way overkill for my usage. Thus just going the springs and shocks.
Do you know much about the level of dropage these springs bring? The webby claims 1 inch front and rear, but I've heard many different things now all the way from .75 through to 1.5 inches..,
Not sure I bargained for that, mine sits level on stock shocks and I want it to sit level on these h&r springs. Not wanting to do any star gazing while driving.. Any info on this? Some guys talk about a 15mm spring pad for the rear? If that's the case, I should have just gone with eibach springs..,

The spring pads from the us cost around 50 us just for postage..

Any help would be grand.

I have no experience of fitting lowering springs to the Z4M, but there are plenty of others on here who can give you that information.

Oil wel??? Lol!!
So just wondering which h&r struts were actually made for these lowering springs?

Cheers
