shocking customer service from sky...

upgraded to the hd package at 2:30am this morning, so i could get sky sports F1. it was on offer at £5 per month for 6 months. this afternoon, i got a leaflet through the door telling me they're now offering the hd package for £2.50 for 12 months. i just phoned up and asked if it was possible to get it for £2.50 and she said no as the offer ends on 28th march.

fucking wankers. i spend £60-£70 a month for my sky package and they can't even be bothered to save me £2.50 a month :lol: i asked her why it wasn't possible and she said it's because she can't do it as a ''goodwill gesture''. this is a complete lie as last year they gave me line rental for £1 a month for a year.

i honestly can't believe it :lol: i'll just go with virgin media as there internet is much better in my area as is the on demand service.

If you ring the number to cancel your subscription I'm sure you'll get the goodwill gesture. I believe the team in that department are incentivised on how many people they deter from cancelling and consequently they have a greater degree of flexibility in terms of what they are prepared to offer you.
