You will need the shorter auxillary bumps for lower/M sport setups

Fronts: 31336778545
Rears: 33536770350 (this part number comes with the protection sleeve attached to it. Part 3 + 4 on RealOEM diagram)

Sorry??
You asked and I said your photo was of Sport ones, but then you cut them shorter anyway??

I just ran downstairs to check all the parts I got. Indeed that is the shorter one. I hope he didn't cut it after my message :o

My post was more of an affirmation to confirm with the part numbers

No my original affirmation was incorrect. On the rear there is a significant difference, but on the front it is not so much.
The sport one doesn't have the waisted part below the ridge as shown in the OPs photo.
Sport should be 60mm, so cutting this one down was ok.

Im learning and managed to do one shock tonight post incoming soon!!!

Sorry for the slight thread hijack with an uneducated question - but would installing standard bumpers rather than the sports bumpers actually impact ride height at all?

I.e If rest of the suspension components are the lower “sports” suspension, would it have any bearing on ride height? Or would it be purely a handling thing?

It would only have any effect if you cornered very hard, enough to bottom out the damper. Highly unlikely in normal driving. And even if you did, the foam rubber bump stop would compress so it's not as if you suddenly make the suspension rigid. I suspect in reality the difference in length of those two bump stops would never really be tested unless you were on a track.

The bumpers are at the very top of the spring travel. So they shouldn't affect ride height. But they would make contact sooner.

i waited so long for the parts from auto doc and loads of different references came up i gave up…….
Put the correct part number in and both types came up? Or just put in car model and there were many?

Cheers, good to know!

Asking as I recently had RBM carry out a suspension refresh for my Zed, but some idiot (this guy!) accidentally ordered Febi standard/se rear shock dust covers (which come with the bump stops fitted) part number 181811 from Autodoc, and I only realised after paying the rather large bill post completion of the job… :headbang:

I wasn’t sure if I was imagining my ride height was a little higher than previous - but pretty sure it’s the only wrong part I ordered, so must just be my paranoia (or a slightly higher ride with fresh shocks/springs etc?)

I was considering changing them out for the proper sports ones… but might just live with it if it isn't impacting the ride height, as guessing it won’t be cheap to change them out!

It wouldn't affect the ride height as far as I'm aware. If you drive on rough roads, you'll end up bottoming out more frequently, causing premature wear to the bump stops if they aren't the correct length.
