Hi all,
Looking for a little bit of guidance please.
Mechanic has just told me that one of the shocks is leaking and needs replacing. Not urgently but he says that the last time he tried to find one for an old z4 it was difficult. Either out of stock or silly money. Last time he ended up finding a second hand one apparently but took quite a while.
Its the front passenger side.
I didnt want to bother him with this so agreed to try and find one myself. New or otherwise.
I had a look and seemed to find some based on my reg at about £120ish that said they fit. Not cheap for a shock but not horrendous money? I want to be sure to get the right one though if anyone can help guide me with this please? For instance some seemed to want me to pick between a couple of options - something about a hexagonal top nut??
Mine is a 2008 so e85 Z4 Roadster. 2.0
Failing that I will just have to go back to the garage and ask him to help me but I though I would see if any of the people on here could steer me right instead.
Thanks all.
