Finally managed to get the zed out of its rain-enforced hibernation yesterday and went for a very enjoyable drive. Came back covered in squashed flies (the car, not me), so decided to give it a good spruce up - it was still covered in crap from its trip to the bodyshop a couple of weeks ago.

Anyway, I now how everyone likes pics, so here goes...

They are better than the last quick ones taken on my phone. Very pleased with my facelift bumper, although still debating whether the splitter (waiting to go on) will clear the bottom of my driveway. Thinking I might give it a try next week... I can always take it back off again, I guess!

I'm pleased with them, but I'm wondering whether I should have gone for black CSLs rather than anthracite... quick photoshop

IMO you made the right choice

I've definitely been inspired to give my car a proper wash tomorrow.

Edit: It's also making the Eibachs I enquired about all the more tempting.

Cheers all! I do like the anthracite colour. In some lights it is a pretty good match to the Sterling Grey, but in others it is a little bit off... either way, changing the colour of the wheels is way down on my list of priorities! Rear bumper coming off next week, to be replaced with one with parking sensors (for my wife). Aero side skirts on their way too (for me) - thanks Jamie @ Sopers.

So, more shiny photos to follow shortly...

Sweet looking car you got there. Looks great for just a few mods, and far better than standard. Still retains the OEM+ look too, good job

Great job  As for the wheels defo right choice :D
Black always looks to me as a home mod done on the cheap JMO :|

Thanks again everyone!

I was really chuffed today... I filled up with petrol one my way home and a guy came over and complimented me on the car. We had a quick chat - he couldn't believe the car was almost nine years old. As ranski and adamski both said, it's amazing what a few freshening mods - and a good clean - can do!

Once the next few cosmetic mods are done, it's onto a few chassis tweaks... strut brace, polybushes, uprated anti-roll bars. Might take a look at the shocks too...

Beautiful.

Excellent choice of mods. I like the wheel colour choice.
