Shiny new bolts?

I've been looking at these:

For the e89, to perhaps pop on at the weekend with the new wheels. Does anyone know if this is the right set? In length etc?

That is the same set that stark fitted to his on my recommendation and he hasn't sent the boys round yet so I guess they were ok
They are standard fit unless you've got spacers fitted.
No pushing from behind required

Thanks for that. I'm 50/50 on them, I'll see what the new wheels look like with the stock bolts and then decide I think as I've seen a few shots of the 313 wheels on cars which look better with black bolts as it helps the twin spokes look a bit longer/to the hub.

Did you buy the bolts in the end?

I like the look of them and just wondered what you think of them and if they would fit an e85.

I have fitted some today from that very seller,my old wheel bolts were really rusty and scruffy...

They were great....I used my original bmw locker though...

I will take a quick pic with my phone to give you an idea...

I've also got a set. Very nice. Didn't buy the set with the locking nut, just painted that with some silver paint.

These are the same bright zinc coated bolts after just one winter. And that's without using the car on a regular basis. 26mm is the standard length bolt on the E89.

Thanks for the picture, they look great and that's convinced me to invest in a set.I'm getting all 4 wheels refurbed in a few weeks time so I wanted to do something with the existing black bolts.

I have the same on mine I think - and the same thing has happened. I am considering getting the chrome nut covers... Or gloss black bolts, but I do like the shiny silver sitting in the wheels.

I bought 2 sets a few months ago. 16 bolts no locking bolts for £9.99 a set. Fitted them & they look spot on so far.

Bought same bolts from same supplier: they are BIMECC bolts, and there are none better. BUT, they corrode as in the pix above in absolutely no time at all. On second set, and the car never sees salt  I even waxed and sealed mine with Poorboys. 26mm length fits all standard Z4 wheels (and E90/E46/E30 etc etc etc)

I have a set as well, bought them a while back to go on my refurbed 224's which will be fitted in a couple of weeks time. I also read on another thread last year that they are prone to rusting. But they are not that expensive and would just buy another set if they got that bad.

If you chaps have a second set, why not clean them up with a wire brush, mask off the thread and spray with silver/chrome paint (dependings on the look you want)...a few lays of laquer and leave them to dry for 24 hours.

You then have a perfectly shiney set of bolts

Can see where you are coming from, however I have tried this method I the past but found the laquer and paint was prone to being damaged when tightening and torquing the bolts.
