After 4 weeks of ownership, the weather and spare time have aligned and I have washed, polished and waxed the coupe. :D

Did it relatively quickly in a couple of hours, and used carplan shampoo (I know I know), carplan resin polish and Maguiars crystal carnauba wax with applicator pad. Polished the wheels and then used Autoglym wheel seal spray.I don't have the best products but I'm pleased with the end result all the same!

Wow, good work for 2 hours.

Takes me 90 minutes just to clean and dry the Z. Last wax day took me 5 hours, although that included maybe an hour for claying also.

Either way the car looks great :thumbsup:

Yeah the 2 hours was a bit of a rush job as I am working tonight. I'm sure after a 5 hour wax your car will look brand spanking! I had never actually used wax before so chances are I did it wrong!

Agree it does look good :thumbsup: just some tyre dressing & a little polish up of the exhaust tips would complete it nicely. :)
 
Why did you have to go and post that! Looks exactly like mine did when first got it and had time to give it the tlc is needed. Now it's sat there, no 108s, driver door scratched waiting repair and alloys needing refurb. Just for good measure glass from wing mirror fell out on way home on Monday. The plan is get it back to its best over next couple of months so it looks like that again.

Top job. Love the colour. Spot on when shiny. :thumbsup:

They look ok on the pictures but the dreaded corrosion has started around the hub bolt holes and a little bit at the rim split :(
