Wax doesn't provide a protective physical barrier against particle/stone impacts, scratches and even chemicals though. PPF would definitely be a wise investment, even if only for partial coverage (up front and the forward-facing sections of the rear quarter panels). Nice! Funnily enough mine's going in for the exact same in a couple of weeks (leaving roof panel).
They said to me you should really leave 90 days for the paint to properly cure before doing any ppf style treatment when I asked about it, which is a bit of a pain. I'm going to be scared to use it too!![]()
