Oh what a grand day out, I left work in Bristol at lunchtime for the 3.5 hours drive to Boston, top down and sunshine all the way, a little motorway and lots of A46, glorious. Arrived to find my new car on display next to reception. Mary on the desk, asking how she can help, me giddy with excitement, stating and pointing, that's my car. Have to say that I'm so pleased with colour, all the black bits blend together and it just works, it is utterly gorgeous. While we were doing the paperwork, customers would come in to collect their cars and see mine and just stop and stare.

Emily then took over and we went through all the stuff needed for a new car, they really are very friendly and helpful and I can't recommend them enough. Left Boston at 17:30 and another long drive home to East Yorkshire through some lovely sweeping roads through Lincolnshire and a great way to get familiar with a the new car.

First impressions, the tweaks they have made to the suspension are wonderful, the previous zed felt a little twitchy on less than perfect roads, this is so much better and as for the steering, it's lighter with more feel. The 6MT is lovely and really does suit the engine, that flat torque curve gives you a lovely constant acceleration until you change up, either at 3,000 rpm or 5,000 rpm and it doesn't matter and I can't wait to get higher up the range. Sixth gear is a doddle, again that flat torque curve from low down gives a relaxing drive, from 30 to 70 mph you always have oodles of torque to get going. So very happy with the choice and I can't wait to get out again tomorrow.
