From new Jonny thats A mazing you must be one of the few although i have never heard you say so I bought mine at seven years old (the car not me ) and i do 12ty7 miles a day plus going to me girlfriends (which i dont have cus i is married) :lol: divide that by the amount of pets 1 dog 1 horse and 1 rat (used to be 2 but the nice one recently died ) means that my mileage by a mathematical calculation only understood by Prof Plumb in the library with the candle is a massive 37k ish miles with an error factor of two

Think my calculation is much better than Aquazi's

How come it took you so many years to join the forum and start your huge mod project?

Prob not one of the few.. but the one who mentions it every 5 minutes.. which makes you wonder - from here: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=56676&p=846308#p846308 its his DD - 22 miles 5 days a week average... 22x5x52 = 5750 miles per year... if its now 8 years old i make that 45760 miles - without factoring in non commute driving - yet its got half your miles (so circa 32k) :? Mines not even my DD but i clock up 6K miles per year hooning.

However RichardG wasnt too dissimilar.. had it from new, at 7 or 8 years old was going to sell it, and then decided to mod it.. and it looks fantastic now (so much so i had to copy his 710 alloys)

Well done on the maths, but let me just make you look a bit of a gimp quickly...i brought the car for 28K in July 2005 after trading in my Z3 for 6k, when brought she was not a daily driver for the first 5 years of ownership due to working on my doorstep but for last 3 years ive had a 22 miles comute plus girlfriends that have lived close or far, why would i billy bullshit?
BTW ive brought my Z4 new just in case you forgot or didnt know :lol:

I don't doubt you owned yours from new Jonny. I think you run the risk of getting on folks nerves when you mention it every few posts. Plenty people on here bought from new and dont mention as often as you. Just some friendly advice

And as mentioned in this thread. RichardG also bought his new, M front and rear bumpers, 19" VMRs, eibachs, hardtop, aero skirts, quad exhaust, de gindered etc..... A good few years ago.

You can afford to buy it new, but then cant afford to do all your mods in one go? (ok- another assumption on your income/ expenditure)
And finally as pointed out above you make the "rookie mistake" and say you have a 2.2 when you first join? So for "7 years" you dont know what engine you have?

Dont get me wrong.. i love your Z, and the passion for the mods you have, and i wasnt even intending to pick a fight (my first post was unintended harsh) just think you are a bit full of it sometimes.
