She's getting on a bit now....

Hi there, I thought it was about time I posted as I've had my Zed since she was new and I reckon she still looks the business.

She is an early April '03 and i've added an ipod connection, e-open module, light up kick plates, piano black dash, individual MF steering wheel, aero kit, wind deflector and parrot blue tooth hidden in the ashtray. I'm lucky enough to have a set of ellipsoids and 108s and tend to use the 108s in the summer only so they don't corrode. They still have though, just sat in the garage!

I really appreciate all the help and advice offered by this forum, it's a great resource and all the people seem real friendly!

Cheers

Much prefer the ellipsoids, always look good with the aerokit

Surprised you haven't done the ZHP gearknob yet? Steering wheel is unusual?

Without a doubt, those 107s are just the best wheels for that car

Still looks great..... I looked at a 53 plate at the weekend with 80k miles on the clock.
Whats your milage right now? Do you get many problems with her?

Thanks for the nice comments, i've covered a massive 26k in her since she was new (I walk to work!) and she lives in a cosy garage and only comes out if the weather is good. The only problems I have had were with the throttle housing when she was new (warranty) and a broken rear spring (£80 from stealer) last month.

The steering wheel is an Individual with Piano black inserts I found on the US ebay, I wanted a smaller one than standard but didn't want an M wheel in a non M car. It is really chunky and was fun swapping it in and connecting up the stereo controls. It all works fine though with no coding required.

Next up if i'm brave enough is to get rid of the amber lights but I do need to sort out that aerial, anyone recommend a good stubby supplier?

Cheers
Ed
