Woo - Shell have finally started a points scheme... it just so happens I'm completely surrounded by Shell garages and they are the only ones with fairly decent pricing. There are BP ones too, but they are at least 4p a litre more! And since I lost my Nectar card and it's a premium rate phone number to get a replacement (without knowing the number) I generally stay away

Get a Shell Citi bank credit card and get 3% cashback on shell fuel and 1.5% on everything else (was double that for first 3 months when I signed up)

Been around for about 5 years, and you get 2 points for every litre of Optimax/Vpower.
You need to buy 500 litres of Optimax/Vpower to get 1000 points for a £5 voucher!

I prefer to use Tesco 99 and then get 1 point for every £1 spent - i.e. £50 gets me 100 points (although I think there's a double points scheme on at the moment).
You need to buy 250 litres to get 500 points to get a £5 voucher that I can use instore or at the pump, so in effect giving me 2x the benefit that Shell gets me, but with the added benefit that I get Tesco99 for 5p/litre cheaper than Optimax/Vpower at Shell anyway.

I have one of these cards aswell, yes getting 6% off petrol for the first three months made it a nice saving on the fuel bill Isnt it 1% off everything else?

Signed up for this at the motorshow last year... every little helps I guess! I either go to Shell and get my Shell points, or Nectar points at BP.
