anyone use this company for insurance and had mods allowed?

i was with admiral with multicar policy for the z4 2.0 and vxr last year and cost 1200 spread over 12 months, this year they want 1450 (700 vxr and 750 z4)

vxr is standard, zed lightly modded.

10 mins on gocompare and sheilas wheels will insure both (as non modified) for total 695 :) they wont quote with mods online.

As a new customer admiral will do modded z4 for 580 over the year.

if i have to use admiral for the bmw and SW for the vauxhall , it ll be 900 for 12 months. still a saving over renewal!

Worth calling Admiral and telling them to match or lose the business. I play this merry dance with direct line every year...

I have 5 with Admiral, renewal september so I better get ready for battle ...

I'm with admiral and got our multicar down from the renewal of £1100 :o to £600 just by getting a new quote from their website and some comparisons. This was for our E91 '11 plate and freelander 2 on a 61 plate, they will come down.

Went with Shielas Wheels last year... Not hassles and best deal out there.

How 'modded is your z4?

30mm drop, strut brace, non-standard wheels.

did the same with Admiral multicar for 3 cars - renewal came in at stupid numbers, went on their website and got a requote then got them to price match ... Worked out £100 less than last year !

I did the same also. Admiral quoted £1200 on multicar. A new online quote came out at £800.

I phoned them - put on my best Little Brittain voice - and said "I want that one".

NEVER EVER accept a renewal quote.
