In my old house I stored magazines in a shed that had one window missing for 5 years- when I moved them to the garage in my new house not one was damaged in any way. Lucky i guess but worth a punt if the only other option is binning them.

If you don't mind me saying I see you've braced the studding, however when the ply is nailed on that squares the frame and keeps it square so there was no need to do that (I do have a slight experience of the trade :wink

As a time served joiner we were taught when making frames to brace them square on construction before any sheet material was attached , , ,
easier to handle & transport + the bracing ensured the framework stayed "square" throughout transport to the job

Our Joinery division braces timber studding as I said above for our timber house construction, but we're up t' north

You'll only ever see half of it in one picture as the long side disappears behind the garage and that end of the shed encloses the dead space behind the garage - the visible section that sticks out into the garden is about 2.8m long by 2.5m deep. Have you got Planning Permitted Development Rights?
I checked with planning dept and can build a shed up to the property boundry as long as it's within the height limits - they said there's no limit on length but the total area of 'temporary structures' mustn't exceed a certain %age of original property area. Even though one side is very long, the area behind the garage is triangular and the total area is less than 15 sqmLillywhite said:
There were some other bits about not being in front of the house and having to be a certain distance from the house but they didn't apply.
