Shaving

Me, the wife's not too happy but its now starting to grow thicker and i can shape it better although its more grey than brown

I hate shaving at the best of times and generally maintain a three day stubble these days. The arrival of lockdown did prompt me to stop altogether for a while, play around with shaping it a bit to amuse the kids (and annoy the wife), but then gave up as it just got too damned itchy!

I haven't stopped, but since I stopped working I only shave every other day anyway.

After that it starts to annoy me - mainly because it is all grey. :(

But no likelihood of a hair-cut until at least July is a real concern!

Has anyone tried cutting their own hair yet? Photos might be amusing.

I have given myself a covid crop :D

Same here, bought some clippers off ebay when I could see lockdown looming and did a selfie haircut, at first I tried just styling it  gave up and ended up with number 2 :)

Might have to cram in another cut as it doesn't look like barbers etc will be opening until July :|

Tim.

I bought clippers 10 years ago so selfie cuts are the norm... I hate shaving so I'm shaving with the clippers now, maintaining a 3 day beard look. Wife not complaining but not trying to get too close either. :D Same gray whiskers as always

I’ve now got a ponytail when I can be bothered. I always liked long hair, I’m a bit of a Rolling Stones fan.

No jokes about what’s under a pony’s tail please. (Answer: an arsehole)

Left mine to grow for about two weeks. After the first week it was just to appease the wife who quite liked it; possibly as it hid a lot of my face?
Anyway, the second week was hell, drove me insane so off it came!
Back to every second or third day now.

Last had a beard 47 yrs ago when I got married. At the start of the lockdown I thought I would give it ago again to see what it turned out like. The hairy face lasted three weeks before the itchiness got on my nerves. Colour wise it turned out two tone ginger and white.Maybe we should have some pics.

Last shaved on my wedding day nine years ago. Surely there's no need after that!

^ I don't think there'll be many able to beat Jamie, with 9 year old epic beard! :o

I am on week 6 or 8. Who knows any more..
I normally shave every day, or other day for my work, so it's been fun experimenting by letting it grow out. A little grey, which is to be expected. Its getting long, and does itch, but not irritatingly soo. Definitely need to keep it washed and conditioned like your head of hair. Can't wait for the barbers to open again. As I am starting to look like a cave man! :D

I think mine is slowly going from multicultural (brown, ginger and grey) to albino..

And I just realised I got married in 2008 so it's twelve years old. Don't tell my beard or wife, they'll only get upset. 🤫😁
