Share trading websites

Does anyone in the forum use such sites when investing in shares?

I use iii.co.uk. They seem to offer a pretty robust service/a very competitive handling fee charge.

Im sure there are better ones out there. Any suggestions?

Cheers

Matt

I use shareprice.co.uk. Good live data on the mobile app and only £5 a trade in July, then £10 after that. You can also trade from your mobile too.

I have a Nigerian who emails me tips, usually in oil shares. I just transfer money to him and he faxes me share certificates back.

Reckon I'm sitting on about £5mm when I cash in

Calling Beancounter-calling Beancounter, you're thread has arrived

I hope he sold those £m's of Rockhopper shares. They have dropped off a bit since!!!!!!

The Nigerian broker route sounds great but I think I will pass. I have sold a couple of mobiles to them over the years and they never seem to pay up lol.

Cheers for the sensible replies.

That looks quite promising... might have to look into that one. I like the idea of being able to do it from the iPhone

X-O.co.uk looks pretty good too. £5.95 flat fee on all trades with no admin costs. I cant see any catches.

Sounds to good to be true ............
