Hi

I think that there is something is not right about my ZED.

Basically when I start the car in morning I would leave it to warm up for a bit then as soon as I release the clutch on first gear that car starts shaking or vibrating like it doesn't want to move so I have to release it carefully, after that the car drives fine.

This problem happens only when the car is starting/cold, I am not too sure if its the clutch as the car only has 58k on the clock !!

Any suggestions please ?

Many Thanks

Do the engine revs drop like its the engine wanting to cut out?
Also iv had this on a car before, can be clutch plates sticking try pumping the clutch fast like your shaking it loose before selecting a gear.
Or can be imperfections on the clutch plates try letting clutch out slowly with brakes on see if it slips or if the car cuts out.

On the car I had I slipped the clutch until you smell the burn which would have cleaned the plate surface which fixed mine, was a mx5 not a z4 but a clutch is a clutch.

I'd go with the sticking clutch plate theory. Have you tried starting the car with clutch pedal down and then pull away.
