Shadow chrome expensive

Made a few enquiries today about getting my m wheels refinished in shadow chrome...wow expensive! One place £100 per wheel, another £85ish but they've never done it before!! Anyone had it done and can advise on price as I think that's a bit steep!
 
Wheel specialist company did mine on my Z3M coupe..

It was around £70 per wheel including tyre removal and refit..
 
When I refurbed my CSL's I was going to go with Shadow Chrome but my auto factor, who is a friend too, said it is really difficult to spray correctly, if you go too heavy or light the colour changes.

That would be my main concern having four slightly different colours. What would anyone recommend that's similar to shadow but is not (if that makes sense) . Just think the standard silver doesn't suit
