i feel like a right idiot, iv attempted the vanox fix today faffed about all day upagainst the bulkhead in tight spaces trying to get everything lose, with alot of difficulty i finally got everything undone went to slide the vanos off, and it dawned on me i couldnt get the vanos off because of the bulkhead there, now when i read through the how to again it looks like the e46 fan assemblies is inbetween the vanos and bulkhead and hence when removed you have enough room to take it off, on the z4 however the fan assembly is between the bulkhead and the front bumper, so to me it looks the only way to get the sodding thing off is to remove the bulkhead!? iv got as far as taking off the front bumper and im beginning to wonder if this is beyond my capabilities, has anyone done the vanos fix, is it neccessary to remove the bulkhead, and if so how on earth do you do it? iv been googling for the last half hour to try and find a guide to removing it but so far havent had any luck, any help at all would me much appreciated!
