Last weekend in the beautiful weather, I went for a potentially last run in my M, which of course included the beauty of the Lewes tunnel. The exhaust and intake sounded beautiful but potentially touched 31 mph when going through the tunnel to fully experience the moment.

So when the post arrived today with this:



I must admit having a few buckling knees moments :cry:

However, it was my gun license renewal :headbang:

But dear oh dear, was that a panic moment as my 31 was well above the 30 limit in there ...

and whats this bs of 1 mph over ???? we get at least 9kms over before anything happens and usually has to be over 15kph over....

He was doing 75mph and just changing to 3rd :rofl:
 
So no concerns about your journey getting to / from the tunnel egh PVR??? :poke:

I can practise on some old banger, #320 would do nicely for that I guess. :P
 
Are there cameras in the Lewes tunnel? :o Last time I went through it I definitely needed third gear... Might have to stick to the Hindhead tunnel from now on - unless that has cameras too now?
