When I lock my car using the remote on the key, the indicator lights don't flash to confirm I have set the alarm. The alarm has been set as the light on the mirror is flashing and if I stick my hand in, when the roof is down the alarm will go off. Is this normal, or should the lights flash?

what do you ask them? and what options do you have? Can you get the doors to lock automatically?
I reckon a stealer charge at least £50 these days. Cj10jeeper posted a list of what can be coded a couple of years ago.

Triple indicator
Comfort access
Visual arm and disarm
Key to seat memory
Auto lock on drive off
Probably something else but can't remember.
