Graham I really wouldn't spend a £1 on your car to aid a sale.
The colour, miles & history will sell it but maybe not on here
Ebay ad £9450 I'd expect the phone to ring.
Forum buyers can be picky , it's a Se 23i which is not always top of a search criteria when looking :(
Get your pics, price & info sorted it will sell no problem as it stands .

Thanks. I’ll decide what to do next week. On Joel at the mo 😊

75 23i’s for sale on Autotrader alone this weekend means buyers are spoilt for choice and sellers having a tough time. With this car’s lack of M sport seats and no I drive I’d think any potential buyer will be someone wanting the car more for looks, and cheap running top down cruising and won’t appreciate a car with wheels that frankly are doing it no favours so leaving them on will mean this car gets brushed over for a standard car. Any Z4 E89 wheels would suit, not necessarily 19’s so I think to get some interest on such sites that’s the way to go, factor in the cost of replacement and selling these aftermarket wheels and it’s not much spend.

Just imho obvs.

What exactly is it about the wheels that have you twitched up John :? to the untrained eye ( ie most likely 90% of future Z4 owners who haven't even looked on the forum & haven't spent years studying the species  ) they are hardly a massive step away from style326

Not sure really, maybe being a bit harsh perhaps but there’s something that just sit right about them, spokes too skinny maybe, just don’t think they suit the car as much as standard. I’m probably wrong anyway so......

These are up for sale again. The prospective buyer changed their mind (without seeing the wheels by the way)

Clearly playing to the wrong audience Alan , have you tried Ebay ?
These should be drawing minimum £500 for the set , you just need them up in the right place
