Set of Eibach Springs for E85 (NEW)

Brand new set of front and rear Eibach springs. Never been fitted.
Suitable for E85, assume E86 too....... check the part numbers.

I've looked at Autodoc etc for a guide to price and hopefully these will be seen as a decent buy?

£150 posted to UK addresses.

Are they e89? Are they 35i appropriate?

Quite keen to do shocks/springs/ARBs in future so pencil me in if so.

[ref]MarshMA10[/ref], apologies, title updated to show they are E85.

[ref]Zedebee[/ref], checking the part numbers they say they lower 30mm. I would assume that is from standard height?

EDIT - THIS POST IS WRONG

If my research is accurate -

(1) There are two Eibach lowering options, one lowers the car 30mm front and rear, the other lowers the car 30mm front and 20mm rear.

(2) I have not made a note of the "30mm front and rear" parts numbers, but the numbers on those two coils seem to match the numbers I noted for the "30mm front and 20mm rear" eibachs.

(3) I believe that the lowering is from SE level, and that M-Sport is 15mm lower front and rear than SE. Therefore I believe these coils will lower an SE by 30mm front, 20mm rear, and an M-Sport car by 15mm front, 5mm rear.

(4) I believe that normal, SE level / Bilstein B4 dampers will be fine for these coils. Bilstein B6 would be firmer, but if you want firmer than OEM best to go Bilstein B8 which are designed for lowering, unlike B6.

(5) I would not post the above unless I thought I had done my reasearch... but I could easily have made a mistake - please double check, don't rely on me!!!!

Edit - this is now bugging me - I might be wrong above! I will post more this evening.

I should not have doubted you... I made an error in my notes, now corrected! You were, as I should have known, spot on. Yours are the 30mm front and rear version

Eibach E86 lowering coils - Version 1 – Lowers front 30mm and rear 30 mm.
Product code: F11-20-010-01-VA (front)
Product code: F11-20-010-01-HA (rear)
Product code: E10-20-010-01-22 (full set)

[The other ones are...

Eibach E86 lowering coils - Version 2 – Lowers front 30mm and rear 20 mm.
Product code: F11-20-010-01-VA (front)
Product code: F11-20-010-04-HA (rear)
Product code: E10-20-010-05-22 (full set)]

Are you saying these should be E86 only?

No, that is me tongue in cheek countering your convertible bias! I think they are probably for both but please check as I have always searched by reference to my E86 and never bothered double checking that my research is equally applicable for E85s with their missing hydro-repellent metalwork and unnecessary wet electric motors.

So if anyone has now got lost.........................
These springs will fit both E85 and E86 and will lower the car by 30mm front and rear from a standard (SE) height.

Bump.
Is the pricing wrong or just no interest?

The price seems to be a big discount to retail price, and a small discount to "best price if they're on offer, which may or may not be a price you can get them at this week or this month".

I'd say your price is absolutely fine... but then again I can see why some people would pay a bit more to get from a company where there is more comeback (though in practical terms I'd bet it's more pleasant dealing with you than with autodoc if things go wrong!!!)

As always, you just need to need them at the time of sale.

Price seems fine though.

Cheers.
They'll just sit here until then. No rush and they're not eating anything.

When you did mine, you could have used them if you had had them at the time, so just timing.

You see, just required patience - I know you Northern chaps don’t have that :P :poke:
