What are a fully refurbished set of 108's with almost new Goodyear Eagle (7mm tread) worth. The wheels were refurbished 18 months ago and are still almost mint (one slight bubble).

Just after the approx market value before I make any decisions. No photos just yet.

Hmm, refurbished 18 months ago and used for 18 months..
Then, I suppose it depends - exactly what was done and achieved in the Refurbishment?! :?

One would have hoped, that in the last 36 hours, since the original post - that photos would have been uploaded, to help people give you an idea of a guide price...
Therefore, it' possibly, safe to say: :worthless:

Best of luck with the sale

"one slight bubble" . . . . .hhhmmm ? Were they split when refurbed ?
Tyres are a big plus but without wheel pics £500 give or take £50 would be my starter bid :D not that i am bidding :?

'Mr Wilks', I think it's safe to say, we both sing from the same or a similar song sheet, with Alloy Wheel Refurbishments..
It's simple: either do them right, or don't waste your time; money and effort, etc!

If, they have been split down carefully; acid stripped and or shot blasted; prior to Powder Coating etc..
Then re-built carefully, all done by a Professional company, then you have a fighting chance of having a set, that will last and last..
If not, the "bubbling", may well come through again, in a good few months, maybe even lasting to 18 months, - if your really lucky!!
Personally, without pic's, I would be weary of offering £50.. :?

£50 is a little harsh Paul  the rim bolts alone are worth £50  if you can get them out when they,ve been painted in :o

The poor bloke, looking to sell his 108s, with "bubbling" - may well look at this thread and think WT#, or similar!!

Yes, the BBS bolts alone, all 80 of them are worth £1 each, all day and night, so long as - as you say, they are removable and have not being painted, or worse - powder coated over! :!:

£50 is not harsh, it's an unknown entity, without pic's.. :poke:

Guys only picked the car up today, so no oppertunity to put photos on yet. I was merlly asking the question as to approx value so can weigh up weather its worth selling them and buying something I prefer or sticking with them until such time as I need tyres and keeping wheels as a spare set.

I've run a Z4 3.0 with 17" rims previously with RE070 tyres and it transforms the cars grip and ride comfort by removing the rubber band type tyres.

Hopefully I'll post some pics this weekend.

:driving: Right car arrived and wheels look ok. The time are in great condition with little sign of wear and no bubbling, however the centra part of the wheel are experiencing a little wear and bubbling.

Tyres are all in great shape, with 5-7mm all round. So what do you all think there worth.

Tyres look chunky to me are they standard sizes?

Maybe OP should clean them, then repost pics... :)

There, is an old saying: "You can't polish a turd". In this case, it may be true..
These wheels, simply need a proper and full refurbishment, to get them half decent and back to their firmer glory
I'm sure, someone will pay a couple of hundred quid; get a bargain and then spend a good many pennies, having the refurb's done - just in time for the Spring and Summer..

You may not be able to polish a turd, but you can roll one in glitter.

I've cleaned these now, and split the wheels also. Rims in 100% ok condition! and middles going off for a powder coat at weekend for £100 for all four.

Looks like I'm keeping these now. Thanks for your interest.

Nice move Jazz , very rewarding moment when you get them back resplendent  post up some pics when done mate

So wheels back from Powder Coaters (£100 all four centres), so looks like that turd has been polished and then rolled in glitter to give them that metallic look.

Looks like there here to stay now.
