Hi... just done a trip to the nurburgring and back.. during the trip I noticed the servo hose has collapsed... cat find a specific replacement part.. any one recommend a replacement part please...

Next... I want to replace the crank vent valve and pipework.. car has 86k on and I figure it's worth doing as the valve cover end if the pipework looks gunky... I have seen kits for this on ebay around £60. Anyone fitted one... are they any good or is there a better replacement...

Also... tick over a bit lumpy was fine pre trip... have an Eml light up.. waiting for Carly cable to arrive to diagnose.. suspect it might have something to do with collapsed servo hose... or ccv...

I replaced my CCV recently. It's not particularly difficult to replace the CCV but I wouldn't try to do it without gaining better access by removing all the intake manifold and ancillaries first. This does make it a much bigger job but gives you the opportunity to check many other components/pipes/tubes/gaskets for wear and tear. When it cracks and crumbles when gently removing it piece by piece then you know it was a sensible move.
I fitted this German made Febi Bilstein CCV. Excellent quality.

If its the same servo hose as my car then they are prone to collapse and you can get them via your BMW dealer. Not that exensive from memory about £20.
