Would this not be a inspection 1 or 2 from dealer? If so they are pricey in my eyes I got a quote from them somewhere around £400 - £500 for inspection 2. In the end went to bmw specialist and was have the price.

Nope! And no help at all unless you own a E85 or E86. No longer have inspections and haven't done so for a long time, infact my mums E61s haven't had 'inspection' services and they launched mid 2004.
You need a vehicle ''check' every 4 years with BMW and its a lot of sh!t to be honest. They completely inspect the car inside and out for any 'issues' for an hour or so, charge around £150/£200 I believe (minimum 1 hours labour but it usually takes 1.5 to 2 hours) if you don't have the service pack and all being well and nothing to do they will let you leave with the car but they may also present you with any issues that should be looked at but aren't of a 'safety' concern like if your bolster has a slight wear then they will advise you to have it changed at the price of £650, clearly not something that really needs to be inspected by them.
I don't paryically see the point of it apart from making yet more money off customers as when you have a brake fluid and or oil service they always check the car prior to working on it and any mechanical or issues with tyres, brakes, lights etc are highlighted.
A vehicle 'inspection' and the dodgy little symbol next to it is your MOT and if you click the lines they give you when they are due.
