Servicing With National Tyres

Stamps in the service book is a consideration, personally my car is old now so it dosn't concern me, I do all my own servicing and only present my vehicles for annual MOT's. The Zed Sheds around the country run by enthusiasts tend to hang out on zroadster.org, there is a zed shed HQ thread on there but a couple of more sheds dotted around the country, mine is in South Wales where a few of us get together to do jobs on our cars, usually a donation to the tools fund covers anything we do, pays for the electric etc. We just turn up with the consumables and get stuck in. We do have a no liability policy in force to which we all agree. Tends to be in my garage as I have a car ramp.

OP, if you're not mechanically minded, you could always ask around if there's a member near you who would help?
You buy the parts and use a fraction of the money you save to provide the beers.
That way you also get to learn a bit more.

Definitely not mechanically minded and if anyone knows of anyone in the Lancashire area that would be great....

Yep not far and I have used Forshaws a few times in the past, in fact, I went there yesterday and that's where I got my service quote.. Approx £250 without spark plugs and approx £350 with spark plugs!

So you know what the car is due ?
That obviously makes things easier rather than leaving the car & just asking them to do whatever they think it needs .
I'm a bit particular about my oil so i always supply my own ( Millers ) but leave the garage to sort oil filter , plugs , air filter etc
