Servicing at a specialist

Has anyone taken the specialist route with servicing? I am in London so if anyone has a recomendation that isnt stealer prices that would be handy
My mate is a BMW Mechanic at Stephen James Blackheath (very pricey) he looks after my car will ask him if he can recomend anyone for the inspection mines not due for another 9k so not looked into this myself
