Really need to get the car serviced in the next few weeks and wasn't sure whether it was worth going to the stealer or not. Are there any other places anyone can suggest that would be a bit cheaper but around the same standard by my area?

Elberto - Do a search on servicing as we've debated this one many times. Dealer stamp Vs lower costs of and Indy, etc.

Bottom line I think is that it depends upon the age of the car, if you plan to trade in.

I've used Indy on both my Bimmers from the moment they fell out of warranty and saved a fortune, have service stamps to manufacturer standard and much better service.

Cannot comment on Liverpool dealers.

Get yourself over to them. That's where I have always taken mine. As have my family.

They used to specialise in just BMW but now have branched out to Porsche and Merc. Much cheaper, genuine BMW parts and very friendly and efficient.

Thanks to both of you.

I just got a quote from BMW which was £288.75 and got a quote from the place you suggested which was £146.00. I asked what they do to the car if there were any differences in the process but they were exactly the same.

I'm gonna get it booked there as it does look very professional (love their website) and the lad I spoke to seemed happy to help.

Nice one

Got it serviced at Newhall cars today.

Nice place, nice people and decent prices

(some nice cars they got for sale also)

Well done you saved yourslef alot of money there, I also need to find an indy but as yet have come up with nothing near Hemel Hempstead. Does anyone have any suggestions, I could also go anywhere near harrow as i work there.

Please someone help me save some cash and not get stitched up by a stealer
