Not in good mood has it stands, pulled my back, barely walk.

So went to BMW to collect my bits to fix car.
Thought i would pop in to the service desk to ask advice. So asked by reception after taking name and reg. to sit and wait.
So after 10 minutes looking at cars i can't afford i gave up waiting.

Good job i wasn't considering a new £57k Z4 they had in show room.

Bad back can be agony, i find it best to move around if possible. Hot water bottle when sitting can help reduce muscle spasm.

Just a sign of the times. Customer service means "when we can be bothered, if we can be bothered and, boy, you will pay through the nose for it". Try complaining. It's quite fun looking at the utter contempt and resignation you will get.
Too many people making too much money for doing too little these days IMHO.

PS I hope your back gets better soon Bobbie!

Well as i drove off i could the receptionist pointing my way saying something to colleague.
Last time i frequented this branch was 10 years ago. Wasn't impressed then when they gave me car back with greasy oily hand prints over the beige leather interior.

As for back, i pull it it at least 3 times a year, age i suppose.

All began 25 years ago when working on a RX7. Old cupboard doors on floor to stand on in winter, spilled oil, then rain water.
Slipped.
Went a**e over tip flat on back.

Wankel?!

Yes i rebuilt the engine and was putting back in via car jack and house bricks.

BMW what annoyed me their seemed plenty of staff wandering around and folks sat in cubicles tapping pens.

A few years ago we were looking for our first second hand convertible, I was working in Plymouth for the day and at one of the larger car sales places selling new and second hand cars they had one I wanted to look at. I was in my work clothes, must of looked like a tramp, got totally ignored by the salesman, waited for around 20 mins and then approached one of them. I’ll get the keys he said and went off, another 20mins no show. Wtf, walked out and bought one elsewhere. Too busy selling new cars for massive commissions.
