Thats what i was thinking but i love the car, its got great spec so i want it to last and to be honest i cant afford a few grand on another car right now. ive booked it in for a full servicetiglon said:Hi Z4dan, welcome to the forum. I've been where you are, I was probably driving for 10+ years before I had a car serviced. Buy for a grand or two (often a lot less), drive until it dies, repeat. Nothing wrong with that at all, but as others have said if you want your car to last you will need to look after it.
The thing is though, at that age and mileage, how much is it worth? How much extra life are you going to get from it by spending a few hundred each year on servicing and maintenance? After nearly 3 years you've probably had your moneys worth already so hardly a disaster if the engine dies in 6 months and you have to scrap it.
