Service Notes

Took 3.0 E85 to get an Oil Service and a once over for any issues as this was the first time visiting a garage since purchase.
Car seems working and in generally all in good order. But the garage listed these in the notes section as things to be aware of:

- Rear diff bush torn
- Rear shock mount debonding
- Gearbox output seal weeping
- Exhaust centre flange heavily corroded

I am reluctant to spend too much money on the car as it didn't cost me a lot and I won't keep it for ages. But would any of these cause you major short term concern or would be worth doing due to low-ish cost.

Shock mounts I will likely get changed as I have a pair of Bilstein's which came with the car.

Cheers.

Of the three I'd say the shocks is definitely the priority, especially if the gearbox weep is minor. The exhaust flanges always corrode but aren't usually an issue until you want to remove it

As mentioned above, i'd ignore the exhaust one. I've not seen a UK car with a healthy looking exhaust flange unless the exhaust has had some work done previously.

I'd be replacing both rear shocks and the rear diff bush. I'd want to know how bad the gearbox issue is as this could be an expensive job for a relatively small fix.
