service interval on computer?

hi guys,

i'm a newb i just picked up my 2004 z4 2.5i on monday and love it, but have a question about the service interval the computer is upposed to display that is mentioned in the manual? the one that counts down the miles to eitheir oil change or inspection? i've cycled thru all the computer displays and all i can find is time, mpg, average speed, and outside temp...is this feature only available on certain trims of the z4 or am i missing something obvious? thanks lol...
 
Firstly, welcome to the forum.
The service interval indicator is displayed for a couple of seconds when you first turn the ignition on.

it displays the number of miles to your next service, this number is dynamic as it takes into account 'driving style' so isn't just a straight countdown, if you drive aggressively then you get less miles between services.

mine stays up for hours! almost days!

well there is only one or two on here anyway :lol: :|
 
While the service milage counter is up if you press the right button it will tell you when your brake fluid change is due in the format or month/year
