Service indicator?

My Z4MR had an Inspection 2 service in June 2024, the service indicator is now showing "Inspection", which can't be right as the next service should be "Oil service".
As I understand it, Inspections 1 and 2 alternate approx every 25k mls with interim oil services. The car has done 4k mls since that Inspection 2. All at BMW dealer.
Advice pls.

@Beemingallover sounds like the dealer did not reset the service indicator when you had it in for Inspection II.

That sounds typical of a Main Dealer.

I always take mine to an ex-Sytner Indy who is cheaper and does the job properly!
