Service History Opinions

Got the car now after much drama! The Evans Halshaw technicians put 10w40 grade oil in, after BMW told me the car should not be driven with that oil in under any circumstances I demanded they change it to 10w60 or the deals off. Slightly concerned it's had 10w40 in for 4 weeks and X amount of test drives but at least it's sorted now. I actually called DW Motorworks, the guys who did inspection 2 and it was them who advised me to check the oil! So kudos to them, I'll be using those guys, they even offered to email me the details of the work done during inspection 2! But I have it now and I'm officially in love with it.
The only concerns I have so far is a squeak on full lock, which I'll get the garage to look at, and where the hell is the aux input on the nav model?? My old poverty spec Z4 SE had a aux connector in the glove box, can't find one yet on the ///M

Aux only on the 2007 model and it would be in the centre under the vents going down (where there is a flap under the dash when you feel it).

Noooooooooooooo! That's genuinely devastating! I only ever have listened to audio via aux for the last 5 years, damn. I need to think of a solution for this. Thanks for letting me know tho

Just add one for a tenner, bit fiddly to get to the back of the radio but otherwise an easy job.

Oh it can be retro fitted? Awesome. I'll look up what I need to get for it

Or install an Intravee plus KCA420. I bought a cheap 2nd hand 80G Ipod from ebay to go with mine. All driven from the Nav screen.
Worth it if you plan to keep the car for a while.
