I looked at that yesterday on PH looks very nice

Thanks guys. I'm back on AT and PH as we speak. Really frustrating but at least it wasn't discovered on the way home. Not having the luck with cars this year. Sold a car I adored, bought one I had no connection to and nearly bought one that has issues. Maybe I should leave it for a few months and look again in the winter when prices are eased off a little.

Anybody want to buy a second hand MFSW?! :headbang:

hah don't be silly, it's the best weather of the year and prime time to buy and enjoy a new zed :)

Great day to go looking too! probably the only time of year you can be excused for wanting a roadster. Looks to be lots on t'internet at the moment.

I know entirely how you feel, Inkey. I sold my Z4M Roadster, which was PERFECT, for a rock bottom price. That was 18 months ago, and you still can't get anything to touch it! :(

Hearing how much you loved the MC makes me feel like the worst man in the world for taking it off your hands... :(

You're not too far away, perhaps she may come and visit you or arrange a meet...

Bad news

Does the seller know what the fault is?

I thought there was a ABS/DSC repair kit - approx. £450 fitted at a main dealer.

Appreciate the offer m_lehcim - that may make things worse!
Yeah DPG - thats what I found out. Not sure he does know but he'll soon find out as it wont sell as it is for the price he wants.

I had an ABS pulse sensor done at John Clarks main dealer in Dundee for £275.

inkey$ - why not see if the seller will pay for the repair? Or is that just wishful thinking? :?

Another ginger supremacist :-).
Would have been a Good choice in keeping the tango, some colours it suits, some it doesn't.

Shame about the problems as such a lovely colour.

Funnily enough, already emailed him earlier. Who knows.

And I've been suggesting you try one - no ///M tax either

Go test drive the nearest one to you and see if you like them...

Heard about this at zedfest inkey$ - tragic news mate :(

Hopefully he'll see the light and either get it fixed or knock the amount of the price ? Be shame for it to fall through over a few hundred quid, but the onus is on him to fix it - at least he was honest & up front, though lots of orange lights would've given it away.

I'll swap you a used ///M sport steering wheel and a couple of pints for your new one :D

Thanks Bing. Yeah, we'll see. Told him id be interested if he could get it sorted. Came back to me a few hours later saying his "mate who is a BMW specialist" had fixed it. When I asked what he had fixed exactly I got radio silence. Ce la vie, its made me question myself anyway so perhaps I need to take a little more time anyway.

So I have a steering wheel but no car! May keep it for a while just in case ;)

Sorry to hear about the parade lap yesterday. Sounds like it turned into a wash out after hours of amazing sunshine.
