Okay, I give in. Even though it's not mine yet and incredibly bad luck I can hold on to the info no more as I'm quite excited about getting back in the Zed saddle! Deposit down, checking over tomorrow and all things being Zen, driving back around lunchtime.
So, introducing my new Zed. She's a 2005, rare Toledo Blue 3.0SE manual roadster with 65k miles on the clock and is tentatively named 'Eleanor' [of Toledo].

Needs a good service (so to speak), new rubber and a MFSW but aside from that she's in great form. Toyed with the idea of another MC but as a fun toy I fancied some roof down action without the maintenance charges or increased tax. Plus I wanted to free up some cash for our family car. A coupe wasn't on the cards as it would have reminded me too much of ///Molly, so when I saw this beauty I just had to do the deal.
Mods planned are the installation of a chunky MFSW, replace the gearknob with my Storm Motorworks 500g Titanium plated one, non-RFT's all round, rear PDC (maybe), Eibachs and potentially an H&S catback system. Maybe wheels too but I do like the stocks so very much so may initially get them refurbed. Not going to de-tango as I think the orange actually compliments the blue.
Props to Bing for his advice in recent days, neilthomas for his MFSW, StevenH72 for his servicing advice, PerryGunn for trying to get me into an Alpina (not yet but one day!) and lastly phill_thompson for not budging enough on price, subsequently stopping me from buying another MC.
I look forward to many miles of Zed ownership
TImed it to perfection too...tomorrow's forecast is for heavy showers
