OK.... guess it's time I entered one.
.....

:edit:
sorry guys.... I'm going to pull this one for now.
I'm working on a more up to date version.... will post later.

AAAAAHHHH SHEEEETTT! You know it's getting serious in here when some has declassified a photo. Then all of a sudden pulls their entry to revamp it.
Nahhh, it's just a really old pic.
My car's quite a bit different now...
I'll wait & get something more current.

Hey... that's not fair... changing entries once posted should be prohibited. :?

(actually... I liked your submission. Saw it a long time ago. Would have possibly gotten a vote :P )

hehe, I was thinking the same Rick... then I thought, so long as you don't change the submission once the voting has started then what's the prob? I agree though, I thought the last pic was in with a very good chance!

The black //M is so calling me to him. It's not time to upgrade yet, tho. Patience, must learn patience. :w00t:

Jessica, that is an awesome photo! How did you get the background to blurr like that? I am so in love with your car. Actually, I'll probably get a white one when the timing is right, but I so love the black also!

Thanks, I cut the car out (layer via copy), b&w, and used and wind filter on the background layer and left the cut out car alone - actually in this one removed the reflectors, this was pre-tinted reflectors. Here is the original:

Very nice... :D
Did you find those roundels yet?
I was going to order the ones from eas and I emailed back and forth with the guy there, Tom, for like a week to make sure the ones in the pack were the correct sizes. I was so excited because he was going to give me the sides for free in exchange for pics that he was going to put on the website. I ordered them and then four days later he wrote me and told me that he couldn't find the 70mm roundel anywhere and he was going to send a refund. :erm: I know you rigged yours up somehow... Do you have a detail picture of that? Ooh! I did just order a black grille frame though! Yay!

OK, as a celebration of my new wheels (and the fact that I've just passed the 10,000mi marker), I'm submitting my signature picture (large format) as my entry.

It's entitled: Emma - Let's focus on ME

At first I thought this submission would be too photoshopped for some people's tastes, but I guess I have Veruca to thank for posting the first blurred photo. I've got the radial blur on mine with a sharpened focus on Emma, of course.

I don't know how Color managed to be the only car there. Rome is a madhouse! I'm totally jealous though! Oh well, here's mine.

Hi Jessica,

Lovely car! :D

If you go to Rome the one sunday evening before the big vacation week when everybody is away, Rome is actually lightly transited . :)
But driving around Rome with 4 other z4 italian drivers, with their crazy stunts that was my madhouse :P

Umm, thanks Zee42! I appreciate your intentions, even though some of your lady friends here had their minds on other thing. :D

I'll refrain from commenting on the 'hard' part :P

Thanks! We actually happened to be there right after the pope switch. So I have absolutely no idea what you experienced. I don't know if I would drive my car in Rome but someone else's definitely. We had reserved a smart roadster in Florence and were going to take it for a spin through the country (the highlight as far as I was concerned) but we had a change of plans and sadly I did not get to drive in Italy. :(

You're welcome. I'm going to be sad if yours gets more votes than mine! :|

Pity you didn't. If you ever go back you should definitively get yourself a kind of roadster and go driving in the mountains ne & nw of Rome. It's fantastic driving country and there are these small medieval style villages on top of high hills, most have castles & city walls. It's very special.

WOW! I like the cropped version in your signature even better! Makes the car even more of the focal point without all the back ground to distract you. Very nice!
