seperating headlights

i know on earlyer ones its just a case of popping them in the ovwn for a bit.

which ones?
as far as i am now aware :headbang: , All Z4 lights have to be cut apart, the sealant used is not like that used on the Z3 where you can use an oven to melt it. I know I have done angels on both cars.

I kept putting my 2004 Z4 light in the oven until it got that hot, I was afraid I was going to damage the casing & internals, and the sealant did not even soften.

Still ....it got rid of the condensation....

tbh i was thinking of an e36.

how difficult a job is it to retro fit the angeleye kit as thats what im plannong on doing.. was going to pm you actually haha

Cutting it open is not very hard at all.... just takes time and patience.

You might as well get clear lenses while you're at it (or get rid of the amber spots if you have a facelift)?

i do want the white lenses but struggling to find a replacement set of whites ..

going to have a z4 weekend in a few weeks i think, full service, lights, brakes etc

Have you seen the AutoArt Z4 angel eyes lights?

Chrome or black internals

A set sold last week on ebay for £310, despite them being £315 new/delivered on those links. I personally saw the chrome version in the flesh (I visited the seller) and despite being aftermarket units, they actually look OK. Just another possibility for getting rid of the orange and adding angel eyes, given the rareness of clear indicator headlights - I've given up on finding them pretty much...

yeah i saw those i just get a horrible feeling they would look like chav tastic lexarse lights..

im all about oem+ these days

Not really, there's been a single headlight appear in the last 2 months - saved search on ebay for me...
